More Skating Pictures

Part of the Team!

The daredevil of the group.

Surprisingly, Brent did not fall.

Jessica leading the way with the no rail skating.

Probably the best action shot of the day.

Guillermo fall down and go "boom!"

Moving!

The time has come!

New Associates Rockin'

This is Jessica at Starbucks in Manteca. She didn't know I was taking a picture of her using my ninja-like skills with my cell/camera phone. I'm going to get Shannon, Diana, and Virna on here. It's just a matter of time. :) Jessica finally got her writing number and was creating her profile in SNG.

Michael "Atomic Ninja" Dong had a great day today with about $4K in premium in one of his groups and 1 direct policy! He also got a PAA signed for another group.

Diana and Shannon graduated from sales school today. After class, many of the students went to a local bar/restaurant to get drinks and food. It was great. Diana was awarded with the highest performing agent in the class!

Jessica closed her first group today in Modesto! She was working her connections in her home town area.

Virna was working on putting together the re-enrollment for next week. She walked into a dormant account and set up an re-enrollment all by herself! She has 3 appointments tomorrow that we plan to close.

Skating Fame 2nd Quarter Party

The race is on! Josh and Guillermo are like grease lightning on the ice!

Busted! Jessica, Ted, and Brent in the penalty box for holding the rail!

Guillermo was by far the best dressed person on the ice. Here he is with his nifty slide stop.

See the burning desire in Josh's eyes!

This is Regina after landing a perfect triple axel in her mind! The Russian judge gave her a 10!

Random Pictures

Jason on his birthday.

This is Jason's b-day cake. It was probably one of the best cakes I've had in a long long time.

This is Josh skating at our FAME celebration.

This is the winners of the TV in Sacramento.

This is me somewhere after eating lunch. (note the toothpick in my mouth.)

Vegas: The Final Days

I was very very tired. After the conference, I think I slept the most out of everyone. Even when I got home last night...I slept until 1 pm!

Here are some pictures from the awards night:

Here's Tracey, our MC.

They did a drawing for remote control trucks. Eric was the one selecting the names. He didn't pick one person from CA/BW? What the heck?

Guillermo and Ted at the front table.

State Trainer, Todd, Sol, and David.

Josh got called up on the stage many times. He's right in the middle.
Bernice took some pictures at the awards night...

Josh is in the foreground. Chris is on the far right, standing.

VP of Sales, Ron Kirkland, congratulating three of CA/BW's winners for MPI. Sol, Josh, and Chris.

Here's Tracey and Eric.

Another shot of Josh on stage.

Another one of Josh.

Many of the CA/BW team after the awards ceremony.

This is me and a bunch of DSC's from our State. This was on the last morning.

Here's the list and money I had before I went to gamble.
We talked to the pit boss about getting all the bets on the table before the spin of the roulette wheel. We got them all except for the "outside" ones. That's like "red", "black", "odd", "even", etc... Those are $10 bets. Everything else starts at $1. So the spin...the ball lands on.......
31.
As you can see, no one picked 31. Sorry. But thanks for participating in the call blitz and placing a bet.
As for the other outside bets, I placed them on numbers on the board at random and we lost them too. The number was 28.
Sol and Guillermo played the other bets and the only one that won was Regina. Sol played her hands on blackjack and craps and won Regina $20! Congratulations!

I was suppose to play penny slots for Michael and I did the last night we were there. As you can see, I was winning on the slot machine. I got 5 "7's". I won a whopping 40 cents! I played the rest and lost it all. Easy come, easy go.

Here's a shot of the hotel from the pool. This was the last day we were there.

Here's David and Josh at the main bar.
Josh, Ted, and I stayed another day at the resort after most of the people went home. It was a great move because it gave us time to relax and have fun. Although you see a lot of pictures of us having fun and doing activities, the majority of the time was spent in training meetings. Nothing wrong with that, but it was nice to stay another day and have no agenda to follow. We woke up late. Sat around and watched tv. Went to the spa to use the sauna and hot tub. Sat out by the pool. Gambled. Partied. It was just what we needed.
Training: I thought the training was good information and you probably will see some of this stuff taught in our office. The training was all about leadership and how to deal with challenges as a DSC.
I got some information about NAPA for those of you who are interested.
See yall in the morning.

DSC Forum: Las Vegas Night #1

I am absolutely exhausted. I will have to say that I'm so tired that I am not going downstairs to play poker. We had team bonding tonight.
Sometimes it seems like getting our group together is like herding cats.

We took a shuttle to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. We had to dress up and it was probably the highlight of the trip for me so far. We really went crazy.

This is Guillermo dressed up as our star driver!
A shot of the Speedway. All the chairs in the stands are different colors.

There were several groups of cars that were racing. It was very cool. There were also new jet fighters flying on the other side of the Speedway.

Josh overlooking the Speedway.

Ted watching the cars roar by.

The bus ride was about 40 minutes. I want to say that we drove on the other side of the mountains. Not sure though.

Guillermo listening to other States challenging other States.

Some cool cars we got to work on!

It was a pit crew challenge. Here is one of our teams in action.

This is David strapping in Sol in the driver's seat.
Here's Guillermo waiting to get in the driver's seat.
This is Rich strapping in Guillermo.

There were some minor difficulties with getting the front rim of the car on.

Another contest was dressing up in a racing suit and push yourself through some cones on a flat thing-of-a-ma-bob that allows you to roll underneath a car. This is Rich and Guillermo helping Josh get dressed.

This is Guillermo finishing his heat.

The last contest was driving remote control cars through pylons.
It was very hot there. I think after a long day of seminars and waking up early made people tired and many people left early. We were one of the groups that left a bit later.
I took a shower and I'm off to bed. Our day start at 6-something and ends at midnight.
