Some big things in our office...

Virna hit her fireball award today...the last day with some strong direct premium!

Isabelle is officially on board with Aflac with some premium this week!

Ted will be racking it up with his big MLA!

Jason is continuing to rock his first big group! He has written a bunch of premium and still has several other opportunities to see employees and write!

Summersville

Here's a bridge we crossed early in the morning. It's called the New River Gourge Bridge.
For many years, it was the longest steel-arch bridge in the world. 3030 feet long.

Downtown Summersville. This is the old bank. Now it's a restaurant that we ate at. Great food.

This is the Sheriffs Department.

This is Ted and Janice as they wait for Josh to come back with his computer.

There was a big artillery gun in front of the Sheriffs department.

Josh is doing some research on licensing. Ted...I am not sure what he is doing. The local agents gave each of us a Mountaineer scarf. Very nice gift.

Ted was tired.

Here's Janice getting her non-residence license.

We went into the Sheriff Department to see if Janice could get fingerprinted for her license work.
They couldn't help us because they didn't have the right form. Here's Ted, Josh, and Janice waiting in the long hallway.

This is me in front of their Xmas tree.

We had to leave Summersville and go to Charleston for Janice's fingerprinting. I had to take a picture of the sunset. This was in front of the State building.

Here's Janice getting her fingerprinting done!

We then got in the car and drove to Morgantown. We are going to the big game tomorrow. There were some people that thought we couldn't find a room here in town but we did. We scored two rooms at a new hotel in the area. This is Ted checking his email and watching a movie.

We Are Mountaineers

Here's a picture of the woods near the enrollment location.

Here's a shot of Josh and Janice in front of our rental car in front of our business to enroll.

This is Janice waiting for her next employee.

We had to drop off my rental car in Charleston. This is the capitol.

This is my favorite picture of the day.

An employee took Josh's goat ransom! He had to quack like a duck to get the goat back!

Here's Janice at work. Our local agent friends are in the background to the right.

Ted was just adjusting his pants or something but it looks like he is imitating a duck, huh?
Our hotel was right next to Cracker Barrel.

This is me sitting outside on one of the rocking chairs.
In the middle is one of the local agents giving a small group presentation.

Long long long day

This is me in Columbus, GA at my friend's house. This was 8:30 am. Another friend of mine picked me up and drove me to the Atlanta airport so I could rent a car. After an hour of waiting, I got the car and started driving to Charlotte to pick up Janice in Charlotte, NC. The drive from Columbus to Atlanta was about 1 1/2 hours. The drive from Atlanta to Charlotte was about 4 hours. The drive from Charlotte to Beckley, WV was about 3 1/2 hours. It was a long drive but a good one. No snow. Yesterday was rainy but today was absolutely beautiful.

This is a shot I took while I was passing through South Carolina. Today I drove through Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.
I got pulled over right before we crossed the border into West Virginia. I got pulled over by a Virginia police guy who chewed me out for not moving over to the far left lane when I saw a big rig and some police cars on the side of the road. The law is to move over to the far left lane. I didn't and he pulled me over. Chewed me out. The let me go. I think he woke up on the wrong side of the bed!

We finally made it to Beckley, WV and met up with Ted and Josh. This is Ted looking at some "monkey butt" powder Janice and I found out a gas station in Virginia. I want to say we were close to Galax, VA.
Posing with the "monkey butt" powder.

After that, we walked next door to Cracker Barrel to get some supper. Josh had the roast beef. Janice, Ted, and I had the catfish. It was some Southern cooking. No one liked the dumplins so I ate Josh and Janice's portions. I love that stuff.
We had a little pow-wow tonight to go over the enrollment. This is Josh talking with HQ about computer challenges.

It's 2:16 am and I'm out.

Friday

Let this be a lesson for all of you who give the benefits person or owner a poster to put up to announce the enrollment. This is the inbox of a business with the poster on top. Obviously it didn't make it up on the wall.

Here's Janice giving a group presentation in Spanish.

Here's Virna firing up the computer.

You Got Punk'd

Josh was the Ashton Kutcher of our office by trying to punk Jason. Josh pulled me aside into the conference room and told me to have my camera ready because he was going to let Jason know that he got a PAA signed for a very large group and that the enrollment was for the next day. They also had a bet of a dollar on it.

This is when Josh is asking Jason if the bet was still on. Jason has that suspicious look.

Jason confirms the bet.

Josh lets on that he got the PAA signed and the enrollment is on. Jason doesn't believe him.

Jason is bewildered.

Josh shows him the signed PAA.

Jason is happy.
Josh cheated but it's great news for Jason and Josh because they have a huge group to enroll.
Congrats guys!
