This is Jason & Virna walking back to the car after a corporate drop. Jason is hiding his face because he knows this is going on the blog.

This is me on Bart. Look at all that gray hair!

On the Embarcadero on Friday.

I'm wearing my green Aflac shirt on Saturday while cruising in my Impala.

This is me today at the Niners game...in another Aflac shirt.

Hi, my name is Brent and I'm your local Aflac agent. What's your name?

My use of the cell phone camera

Whenever I go into a building with a lot of businesses, I will take pictures of the directory just in case I want to contact the other businesses.
Congrats to Josh for hitting FAME!
Congrats to Virna for hitting her super-fast start!

In the office

Hey, we got our new sign up today. I guess that makes our office official?

Guillermo snuck up on Jason while he was transmitting business. He had one of those party poppers and Guillermo made Jason jump! It was pretty funny. Diana said that she felt the room shake when Jason jumped back.

On the other side of the wall, Diana calmly transmits her business.
Regina found our Giants noise maker. We also have a Staples "It's easy" button now.

Since we moved and there is no room in the new office for my big duck, I brought my beast home. As you can see, my big duck is guarded by ferocious cats.

This is my broker friends, Maria Carmen and Rosie, speaking passionately about Aflac. We went to a wine-tasting mixer and we had a chance to run into several business opportunities.
I ordered new business cards today. I also ordered a new SNG computer. That's a wow for me.
Since the fax machine wasn't working, I got efax. Pretty cool. I also have been scanning stuff to send as attachments in emails.
Things I've noticed in the new office...
1. Whoever did the window tinting of our office needs to be fired.
2. The a/c turns off exactly at 5 pm.
3. The backdoor has some kind of sign that asks everyone to leave the door closed so the flies don't come in.
4. There are better restaurants around here than around the last office. I will miss the all-you-can-eat sushi buffet though.
5. The BART station is about 1 mile from the office. That's walking distance.
Today I was driving from San Mateo to Burlingame and I drove right by a Pez museum. I've heard of it before. I must stop there one day to corporate drop.

Life in the new office

We are having some power challenges in the office. Good thing we have plenty of power strips.

This is Gil in our conference room putting together folders.

Here's Regina calling about getting our DSL up.

A great candid picture of Jason. I was just waiting for him to look up and I got him good.

Here's Regina trying to see if the fax machine is working. Today we could send faxes but couldn't receive them.

I wasn't successful at getting a candid shot of Guillermo because he was really into what he was doing.

This is my new cubicle. Hey, it looks the same as the old one!

More pictures from Janice's b-day party

The pictures posted earlier in the blog were from my cell phone. It's a camera but not a good one, especially in bad lighting. These are the pictures that Janice's dad took. He had a nice SLR camera.
Here's Janice blowing out her candles.

Regina, Janice, Guillermo, and Todd.

This must have been early in the night because there's no one behind them. The place was jumping with people and music and food.

Janice with the boys.
Janice was tearin' it up on the dance floor.

I want to say that Janice is holding a picture of her when she was younger and playing in some kind of piano recital.
